Looking for an unusual gift for the cricket fan in your life?
An Advance Tour Ticket (valid for one year from date of purchase) is the perfect present.
Tours of Lord's gives visitors the opportunity to go behind the scenes at Marylebone Cricket Club’s historic ground where you can see many of the most famous sights in world cricket.
This summer’s special exhibition, Swinging Away: How Cricket and Baseball Connect (opening mid May 2010), features items from the Baseball Hall of Fame and the C.C. Morris Cricket Library in Philadelphia which have never left the USA.
It sets out to challenge everything you think you know about the two sports and will transfer to the Hall of Fame at the end of the year.
Elsewhere, the recently revamped permanent exhibition covers 500 years of cricket history including the world famous Ashes Urn and the Crystal Ashes Trophy which will be departing for Australia in October (though widely expected to return in March 2011)
Advance Tour Tickets must be booked and used within one year from the date of purchase.
Tours run as follows:
1 April-31 October, daily at 10am, noon & 2pm, except on Major Match Days.
1 November-30 March, Monday to Friday noon & 2pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am, noon & 2pm
Each tour lasts approximately 100 minutes during which one of our expert guides will show you round 'The Home of Cricket', one of sport's most iconic locations.
If you purchase a Child (5 to 15 YO), Senior (60+) or Student ticket you will be required to present proof of age/valid ID upon presentation of the ticket at the ground.
An Advance Tour Ticket, however, does not guarantee your place on a tour. Once you have placed your order please book your Tour of Lord’s by phoning 020 7616 8595. Please note that to visit the Museum on a minor match day you must be in possession of a match ticket to gain entry to the ground.
